What Were The Long Term International Issues?
There were many long term issues that Canada had stumbles upon at the end of world war II. At the end of war, all that was left ware destroyed homes, infrastructure, business, and industries. On February 14, 1945, British and Canadian bombers dropped 2600 tonnes of explosives on the German city of Dresden, which killed 100,00 people. The city just disintegrated. Also, there was a firestorm. The Holocaust emerged which was a deliberate murder by the Nazis. They killed Homosexuals, Jews, people that had different types of disabilities, Romas, communists, and Africans. The Holocaust was provoked by the Final solution. This was a plan made my Hitler, which entailed to kill all the Jews in Europe. He estimates 9 million Jews to have been in Europe and he had already killed 6 million out of the 9 million therefore only 4 million Jews remaining. Some people that had lived in Europe claimed that they did not know about this until the allies troops began liberating that the event of there mass murder was showed. The deaths by Hitler and his followers cannot be reversible. Especially the deaths of Jews.
